North London based producer Dorpheus wants to change our minds on dubstep being a dirty word in today’s musical climate. Making a name for himself behind the scenes working with artists such as Lil Durex and Lizzi, Dorpheus brings the old dubstep sound of the early noughties into the new era in a head-on collision with current sounds like UK Drill and Trap.

With a repertoire that sounds equally at home in a chill out room as it would at a cypher, his new track Heliosphere features vocal contributions from Otto Hashmi, seamlessly blending Otto’s effect-loaded rapping and crooning onto Dorpheus’s beats.

The video, directed by Otto Hashmi and filmed by Johnny Stanley, sees the two musicians on top of a no-budget backdrop of space-age sights as they play, showcasing their live performance with a bare bones feel.

Dorpheus will be accompanying Otto Hashmi live at The Crofters Rights, Bristol for a one off show on Monday 19th November. His upcoming EP 'Glimmer' is set for release this December.

Tickets for the show can be purchased via Headfirst Bristol: http://hdfst.uk/E47669
